Despite its name, the YMCA is not just for the young, not just for men and not just for Christians. It is, however, as our history illustrates, an association of members who come together with a common understanding of the YMCA mission and a common commitment to the YMCA's vision. Whatever the facilities, whatever the programs, what doesn't change are the people. What every YMCA has in common is a dedicated group of people: volunteers, staff, members and donors-all of whom are committed to our mission.

Family Club Membership :
This is a club for families and membership gives families all sorts of exciting opportunities together. There is a Family Club day at Robertson YMCA Branch. The YMCA Family Club membership scheme is aimed at providing families with a series of activities and events throughout the year. Come and enjoy the activities on offer together with other families in a relaxed and (hopefully) sociable environment. In time, it is hoped that Family Club members will help to define the activities on offer, so that club activities suit member’s needs. Family Club members will receive admission to Family Club programme of activities and events. There will be at least one bi-monthly event and a weekend camp in the summer. Family club is also instituted as an instrument of community services to move needy families and to inculcate in members the social responsibility. Family club is for families. That could be 1 or 2 adults who are in a parental role with 1 or more children (through virtue of birth, fostering or adoption), including adults who have taken on a parental role through marriage or co-habitation with a parent. We think that’s an inclusive definition of who might join, but if you think you’re a family and you would like to join, please let us know!
Fees Structure :
Annual Membership fees (payable in installments) commences from 1st April of the year.
