Despite its name, the YMCA is not just for the young, not just for men and not just for Christians. It is, however, as our history illustrates, an association of members who come together with a common understanding of the YMCA mission and a common commitment to the YMCA's vision.  Whatever the facilities, whatever the programs, what doesn't change are the people. What every YMCA has in common is a dedicated group of people: volunteers, staff, members and donors-all of whom are committed to our mission.

  • Become a YMCA Member :

Looking to get involved with your local YMCA? Why not call the YMCA to get a personal tour? It's best to call before you visit to ensure that there will be a staff member or volunteer to give you a tour of the YMCA's offerings. Once you become a YMCA member, you're setting yourself on a lifelong journey of healthy spirit, mind and body. You're becoming part of an association that does everything from health and fitness to youth development to community work and much, much, more. As a YMCA member, you subscribe to the cause, mission and vision and have many benefits but you have some responsibilities, too. You will be asked to get involved and be a champion for the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The YMCA involves members in offering their time, talent and treasure, for the greater good. Become more involved!

All those aged 6 or above in support of the Association's mission and purpose are eligible to apply for membership. Membership is open to any young man or woman of good character regardless of creed, colour, caste or race who is willing to unite his/her efforts for the goal of the Association to build character.

Download the form at the link provided below for the respective membership. Print it, fill it and submit it with the cheque in favour of "Nagpur YMCA" at the following address. For any information and clarification please contact us at info@ymcanagpur.org

The basis and model for the YMCA is the personality of Jesus Christ whose life and teachings, form its guiding principles. The word Christian in the name indicates the spirit behind the YMCA and its motivation. It recognizes no difference of race, religion, caste, community or class.

The Board reserves the right (a) to reject any application for membership without assigning any reason (b) to terminate membership of any person for willful violations of rules or whose conduct is deemed prejudicial to the interests of the Association without assigning any reason. • Family Club Membership :
This is a club for families and membership gives families all sorts of exciting opportunities together. There is a Family Club day at Robertson YMCA Branch. The YMCA Family Club membership scheme is aimed at providing families with a series of activities and events throughout the year. Come and enjoy the activities on offer together with other families in a relaxed and (hopefully) sociable environment. In time, it is hoped that Family Club members will help to define the activities on offer, so that club activities suit memberís needs. Family Club members will receive admission to Family Club programme of activities and events. There will be at least one bi-monthly event and a weekend camp in the summer. Family club is also instituted as an instrument of community services to move needy families and to inculcate in members the social responsibility. Family club is for families. That could be 1 or 2 adults who are in a parental role with 1 or more children (through virtue of birth, fostering or adoption), including adults who have taken on a parental role through marriage or co-habitation with a parent. We think thatís an inclusive definition of who might join, but if you think youíre a family and you would like to join, please let us know!
